On 6th April, 1915, the 1st East Kent (Buffs) battalion of 16 Brigade, 6th Division, moved into the trenches at Rue de Bois near Fleurbaix in France where they remained until relieved on 12th April when they moved back to billets in Armentières before returning to the same trenches on 18th April. Stanley Radford died from wounds on 17th April but the exact date on which he was wounded is, as yet, unknown. |
